Latest Batch of Kilt Pins
(Preview)
I had an order from a Lamont cousin to carve a strap and buckle so he could have it as a kilt pin. He wanted wood ( doesn't like the metal ones ) , and he wanted it hand done. So I did one up for him out of paduak, a awesome red and burgundy swirl wood. Heres the pics: [url=https://s741.photobucket.com/albums...

Kimberly's Flame
(Preview)
I just finished this design I call "Kimberly's Flame" named after the person who inspired it. She loves outdoor living so I crafted it from cedar to hold up to the weather. That's "covered" weather of course! I put a few velcro pads into each glass so that wind gusts or accidental bumps will keep the glas...

Is html a craft? ;)
(Preview)
This is my latest project. I don't actually do all the back end web design stuff (although I do speak a little html) but I do most of the writing, content, and placement of it. Hoping in the near future to make a few bucks off it in the form of ad space. www.cedarhilleats.com

He requested that I incorporate some of his badges, and other achievements in the carvings. So I had to carve mini badges and ribbons, and unit patches. It included: Master Jum...

Here is one I started when I left and finished. It is one of my EDCs with a spearpoint. The handle is some more of the USS Constitution live oak. It was to be a gift to a person I knew from active duty but I was sent back before his retirement ceremony.

This is my first CD, Of Things To Come..., recorded in 2004, released in December 2004. It contains only hammered dulcimer, and the tunes are from American Old-Time, Irish and Scottish traditions with one English tune thrown in 'cause it was just too cool a tune to leave out.
