Bakersfield Gathering

A few shots of the Kern County Scottish Gathering and Games. It was cool and windy but wool kept us warm. When you enter a fund raiser you never know what you will win. As you can see we were "in the pink" which my granddaughters thought was awesome.

Dixon, CA Games are next weekend Sept. 29th

This is a one day games at the fairgrounds in Dixon, CA. This is a nice venue and is pretty laid back. Dixon is located off on Highway 80 23 miles West of Sacramento. It is well worth attending.

The Mother Load Highlands Highland Games is a relatively now Games. It is held in Plymouthe, CA in The Sirea foothils. The gates open at 9AM both days. It should be a good event. I plan to be there both days.

San Diego Games
(Preview)
Those who attended enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Weather was pleasant. New layout had food and "refreshments" on Clan level which was a bonus. Alanna Light made some wonderful videos and posted on Facebook. Most Lamonts I've seen recently at the tent. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

San Diego Gathering and games

I will hosting the Lamont tent at the San Diego games June 23-24 this year. Doug Brown passed them to me. He was wary of climbing all the hills and valleys associated with the venue in Vista. It is spread out bit it is the best for watching the herding dogs work their magic with the sheep!
