Well its time for Scotsfest at Costa Mesa this weekend. Doug Brown is the Clan tent host. I will be there both days too. Weather looks great so looking forward to a good weekend. Calling all Lamonts to stop by.

Only when I open up the page which I do about ever 3 weeks just to catch on anything new. How did the Texas games go a the new venue?

The new venue was ok but could have been arranged a bit different, but then mother nature decided to blow and go all weekend. one lady lost 2 tents

I talked to Mike McFarlane (Celtic Jackalope vendor) at San Diego. He said it was a doable location once everyone gets used to it.

That is the key to any gathering. Even Scotsfest in Costa Mesa which has 10-15k visitors a day suffers. I stayed a hotel 4 miles away and they had no idea that it was even going on. It is so expensive to put in hard copy and "good news" doesn't sell so TV ignores us.

about the only advertising we get is maybe the morning news broadcast that are 3 hours long will mention it.
