My Name is Andrew McFatridge. I have been trying to trace back my roots, and came across this page. I actually hadn't heard of the MacPhadricks, or MacPhadrick Lamonts. Being a history buff, they are interesting enough on their own, but seems like I may be a descendant of that line, which is awesome! My grandfather has done a ton of research over the last few decades. His name is Walter Price McFatridge Jr, and he is nearly 92. He has traced our history back to Hugh George McFetrich, who came to America between 1788-1792, and Lived in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He was born in 1761 in Fermanagh County, NI. We think his fathers name was Robert, and have seen his last name spelled McFeetridge.
Hugh's son Holmes who is my 3rd great grandfather had 12 children, 9 were boys. His son, Lewis Cass had 11 children, only 3 boys. I am pretty certain that out of all of this, I am the only surviving male, and now my 3 year old son.
I would love to get more information and exchange any with anyone who can help. I will give the run down for my line, and maybe we have an link in our ancestry somewhere.
My grandpa is huge into genealogy, and turns 92 in a few weeks. I cant think of anything that would make him happier than to be able to find out more about our past. I really hope to hear from you guys on this thread, or shoot me an email. ajmcfatty8@gmail.com.
Hi) I hope you have found your genealogy. Personally I have never dwelled into it. I know some information about my grandparents and maximum great grandparents. Recently I have come across https://studentshare.org/
