Mary, I read your informative post with interest. (My very belated condolences on the death of your husband.)
Would you happen to know if either John or Anne Dougall are still alive? We used to exchange Christmas cards with them for several years and I've a feeling that one or both of them may have passed away by now. Thanks for whatever news you can share concerning them.
Mary. Our thoughts belated on your loss and thanks long in coming for all you do for Clan Lamont. I will be performing this month and I will add "The Parting Glass" with special thoughts this time.
I can confirm that Anne and John Dougal are very much alive John is now 98 years young...our oldest member and very active Anne at 86 also still with lovely black hair looking like a 50 year old they are both up town every day I see them often.
They moved house a few years ago I can give you their address if you contact me privately.
