Greetings all. 

My name is John Young from Laurel Co. Kentucky. 

I have recently discovered that I am very likely a Lamont!  

The lineage goes through Andrew Lamont Young making me the sixth great-grandson as far as I can tell. 

Andrew Lamont > Jeremiah Young > Jeremiah II > Benjamin Franklin > Matthew > John Calvin > Charles Francis > Dad > me! 

Still confirming records and such, but what a wonderful resource this is!  My father I believe has 23 marker match with Andrew Lamont?  I can't recall just now. 

Looking forward to exploring with you all.
