As of the start of the summer "yours truly" is in charge of Woody and his schedule. Currently I'm waiting to hear from Michael Young in Oakland as to Woody's whereabouts. (He's supposed to be on his way to Tennessee.) And I'll be updating his mileage here too.
Woody's little journal that travels with him has been revised as far as the info. on the inside cover goes. He now has his own email address (WoodyMacLamont@aol.com) and Facebook page (do you know what his full name is?) for those of you who'd like to communicate with him that way. The travel account summaries that have been provided by his fellow clansmen and women who've hosted him are most interesting to read and of late there are even photos to go along with the stories. (Very cool!)
After Rick Davis takes Woody this month, the plaque has no other bookings. Do think about whether you'd like to have him visit you. Maybe for the holidays? How 'bout Hogmanay with Woody? You don't even have to take him out of the country. Just have him sitting around where he can occasionally take a sip of something celebratory and enjoy a good photo op. Email or contact him through FB soon!
One suggestion that was made involves geotracking. I am looking into possibly setting this up for Woody. Do any of you guys have experience with this? Any tips or ideas on how to do it right? Thanks!

He could start on the "Left Coast" We have a St. Andrews Day Tea December 7th, Robert Burns Dinner Jan 25th, Queen Mary (the ship) gathering in Feb and our games season starts off in early April in Bakersfield Ca, then to Las Vegas later April. In each palce I am sure he would be able to have a "wee dram" to slake his thirst. He may get a wee dizzy traveling up and down the coast. I would be happy to host his late winter and spring tour
Woody will be off to Mama Jill on Wednesday, 20 Nov after a wonderful Virginia visit with Sir Darcy of Gatling Pointe and his cousins the Browns. If we need to direct him immediately to the Left Coast gang, let me know and I can take care of that.
When he is ready for a trip out here the left coast is ready to put him up. Let him visit out there until early January and then he can "go west my young man"
Tom, sorry but I just now read your post. Woody has a date for Christmas and Hogmany but I can have him sent your way after that, hopefully in plenty of time for your Burns Dinner. Email WoodyMacLamont@aol.com and provide your address so I can get you on his schedule. Thanks! :)
Sorry I was late with the reply to your offer. I will send address today. My wife had hip replacement surgery and had some complications (all is well so I was a bit out of touch. Looking forward to his visit.
