11 February 2013. Woody has arrived in Tamworth the Country Music capital of Australia. Tamworth has a population ofaround 47,500 people and isaround 420 kilometers north of Sydney. Woody has quite jet lagged a requested a few day rest before commencing his Aussie odyssey.
18 February 2013 - Woody was feeling a bit "down under" and host Sue -Ellen Nash insisted he visit the local hospital. Lucky this is also her place of employment. A number of tests were ran and he was ultimately given a clear bill of health.
On 23 February Woody enjoyed some of the lovely rural country side with a drive to Werris Creek and a visit to the local Railway museum. He also met with two Rotary exchange students - Alma from Sweden and Fran from Switzerland. He was pleased to catch up with other jet setting travelers like him.
2 March 2013 - Woody enjoyed a beautiful visit to the Gold Coast in beautiful Queensland. He thoroughly enjoyed a day at Surfers Paradise and the glorious Queensland coastline. The trip also included visiting a couple of theme parks during his stay.
6 March 2013 - Woody went on an extensivetour of Tamworth including the National,Equine Centre, Regional Entertainment Centre, Powerhouse Museum, Bicentennial Park and Hands of Fame park. Woody also did what every other visitor to Tamworth does, and that is having his photo taken is front of the 12 meter high Iconic Golden Guitar.

It has been a pleasure in having Woodya visit and he is now on his way to Melbourne where he will be shown the site by clan member Damian Downie..
