A local house of Spirits had a tasting of Glenlivet the other evening,  I got to taste the 12, 15, and 18 yr old stuff and Nàdurra.  All very good and even got a pair of Glenlivet glasses  biggrin

The Nadurra is really unique. I am not sure I would purchase it but it does add to the conversation.

Actually at few DROPS of water make a large difference. First nose the dram )i.e. take a sniff) then take a sip. Roll it around in your mouth and slowly swallow it. Then add a few drops of water and repeat. It opens the flavor nicely. Do not overdo the H2O.

I saw once an explanation of the chemical reaction. I do add a little water to a few brands, emphasis on little. They add enough water at the distillery.smile
