Hello All, I just joined the group and I'm looking for some information.

I'M looking to get married on lamont land in Scotland,  Does anyone know if that is possible in or near castle Toward, or Knocdow.

Any thoughts or sugestions?

Cheers

Knockdow is now owned by a private family so that would probably be out as an option. Castle Toward would be option but in such state it would be like having a wedding in the park.

A beter choice might be Inverchaolain church right next to the Lamont Manse, not used on a regular basis but could be arranged. The Kilfinan church is the oldest and in daily use so very easy to arrange.

send me a PM with your phone and we can talk more

Hi Ewan.
I recently got married at the above named church, It was a gloriously hot day with lots of people. Its a beautiful church to get married in. The only issue was that its a 15 mile trip to the reception and meal (well, a little more but that was always part of the plan)
As george states above kilfinan is also a lovely church with a lovely hotel next door so that is a huge plus for guests and reception.
PM me and I will send photo's for you unless you have a "dropbox" account and I can share them with you.
either way, I hope you have a lovely wedding
Yours aye

A few pictures in the forum would be a great treat to all if you would be so kind.
