Hello! Can anyone out there fill in the missing line of the limerick that forces you to pronounce the name Lamont PROPERLY!

The Chancellor, Norman Lamont,

Was christened, no doubt, at the font,

da da da da da, da da da da da,

But Lamont's the name - NOT Lamont!

It was first published in the Glasgow Herald diary, but they have no recollection of it.

OK, but I think you're both guessing! There's no prize for the best answer, - only a big thank-you if you remember the correct one!
Anyway, neither of these scans properly, and the original did, as far as I remember.
Keep trying!
P.S. How does a bagpipe get widowed???
