Customized Dirk from Old Purchase

I'm a reenactor (mostly F&I War, RevWar, but more recently in a village set in 1836.  Most of my reenactment accoutrements I've made myself.  About 8 years ago I purchased a reproduction dirk from James Townsend & Son, which is now only available from Crazy Crow Trading Post.

At any rate, it is a pretty good repro of an original from around 1750, which was made from the blade of a 1742 British hanger.  Lately, I've seen more of these around...that's the problem with repros - even if there is only one original, there are hundreds of copies - not historically accurate.

So, after all these years I decided to "customize" mine and make it one of a kind.
