Hi! My name is Robin and I have lived in Colorado for 32 years. I was born and raised in Arkansas. I have been working on my family history for about 12 years. While my family are interested in what I'm doing, none have the passion that I do.
An Uncle and I had dna testing done a couple of years ago, so we have the dna lines for both female and male in our line. It provided us with names, but no solid leads.
I am the great, great granddaughter of Barbara Colleen Patrick and William Robert Tucker. That I am 100% sure of.
There are 2 factions of the family---one believes Barbara was the daughter of a Richard C. and Mary Patrick. This is what is on her tombstone.
The other believes Barbara was the daughter of Solomon Patrick (son of Hugh Patrick and Barbary Bailey) and Filina Hickey. That is the line I have taken in my research---because it follows family stories that I have (which are few) and supported by some of the older cousins who remember Barbara.
I'm hoping to find some new friends and someone who can help guide me through this adventure.
Hi Robin and welcome to the forum. As kmunik8 said, we are infested with Patricks here. I say that with a smile on my face as many Patricks are good friends and all are great people, yourself included I'm sure.
