I'm a new member and a Lamont on my grandmother's side, Iv'e traced her line back to Archibald lamont born in Dunoon Scotland in 1710.

Thanks for the info, remote indeed but last year was worse, Christmas in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, not recommended!
