We just got home from a Yule party with a bit of the Water of Life. I like Lismore and this is a trifecta!DSCN0567.JPG

Eoin, nice looking gift. Now I have added another to my list to try. Let's us know how you enjoy this nectar.

Drac - Yule is an old pagan winter holiday that has been adopted into the Christmas celebration.
The winter solstice is Dec 21 and is a special one this year. The shortest day of the year will have a lunar eclipse. Rarely happens, last time was in 1700's. Speaking of the Solstice...why does winter get a bad rap for being so dark and gloomy? The days start getting shorter after tomorrow.smile

Lismore is quite good. I have not tried these yet as I have been sick for the past week and Scotch seems to make it worse.

Knockdow, The days start getting shorter after tomorrow. You mean longer don't you. Yule has the longest night and the shortest day. Summer Solstice has the longest day and shortest night. Unless you are in Austraulia, then all bets are off.

Nollaig chridheil agus Bliadhna mhath ùr!
