Hello! Nick Patrick here, from Ruston, Louisiana. I'm new to this old family thing, and trying to figure it out. I know my dad has traced us back a good ways, so I'm going to get with him, and find out how far we know. Hopefully we can gain some more information from here.

For now, I can tell you that my father is Donald Ross Patrick (born in New Orleans), and his father is Robert Cleveland Patrick. Both of them currently live in San Antonio with several of RC's children.

After talking with my dad today, he said we come from German Patricks. So I might not be related. We are American mutts, a little of everything mixed in. Got to do some research and find out more.

Ok, maybe some of you can help me. Here's what I now know.

Luke Patrick came from Germany, and had a son named John Patrick that fought in the revolutionary war. Does that ring a bell with anyone?

Hi Nick welcome to the forum. The Lamont & there Step’s have been spared all around the world. Check out the Lamont History section. The Lamont-Campbell Clan war of 1646 there is a good article there. That is just one of many reasons why the Lamont’s left Scotland.
