I have been lucky to make contact with Danielle Clark of Colintrive, Argyll. She lives a stones throw from Couston. Last year Luckey (Jim Rapin) & I drove around the far side Loch Striven looking for Couston, the ancient home of the Patricks. We could not find any signs marking this farm.

and now for the surprise, it is right across Loch Striven from the Manse at Inverchaolain. She took this photo from the oposite shore
