Getting some restaurant visits in while the in-laws were visiting. We took them down to San Antonio for a couple days (in which it rained the whole time.)
This one is on Mad Dog's British Pub at http://www.maddogs.net/ . Food is 4 stars, service 3, decor 3, bar 2 stars (very little variety). Overall 3 stars.
While there we stopped by a place I had been to before and I took time to take a couple pics this visit. Excuse the quality Amy had left the camera at home so I took these with my phone. I'll get some better ones next time we head down there. The difficult part was getting pictures that are appropriate for a family friendly site. With the shortness of the kilts the waitresses were wearing amazingly they still managed to show more bosom than leg.
The food was good. Be warned though the serving sizes are not for the faint of heart. The Scotch Egg app was big enough for a whole meal. Here it is, minus 1 piece.
Amy stated the burger she had was one of the best. The fish and chips I had was good though I had to ask for the malt vinegar. A few pics around the pub.
Definitely kilt friendly but the gentleman need a few lessons on wearing kilt. Most of the guys wore it below their knees (so low it was like the Gangsta style pants showing their underwear) and their hose pulled so far up only about 1 inch of skin showed between the two. Maybe making up for the mini-kilt the ladys wore.
