I have a been member of CLSNA for several  years but just now getting around to joining in on the forum. I am a Lucas and the Lucases are suppose to come from the area of Glen Lean, been there but no one around. Can only get family back to 1790 in Georgia so if you know more please let me know. I am also a vendor at Scottish events-The Scottish Armoury so drop by and say hello if you see me at your event.

Scotbum, welcome to the forum!  As my screen name says, I'm a Luckey.  Wouldn't be surprised if we came from the Lucas/MacLucas stock.  Going to have to check into that one of these days.  Glad you're here.

Dick Lucas is a long time CLSNA member and has been a director of CLSNA for many years. He is hardly a Scotbum. I am very glad he has joined our forum. His vast knowledge of Clan Lamont and things scottish will be a great asset to us

Welcome to the fray.

Welcome to the forum Scotbum.

My family spent a couple of generations in Arkansas from about 1820 to after the War of Northern Aggression in Lees Creek Township and Natural Dam.

Welcome Dick, so good to "see" you here.  (Saw your son at NTIF.)  I hope our paths will cross in person again one of these days soon. Give your better half a hug for us.  (Still very grateful for what you did for us and our temporarily wayward son thirteen years ago.)

Dick,

Welcome to the forum, we hope you enjoy the time you spend here.

Do you usually have a tent at the Stone Mountain Games?
