Bought myself a christmas present

I bought myself a present for Christmas this year.  I finally got permission to mount this in our family room.  I started asking for the entryway or living room.

The link below is to the company that makes it in New Zealand. I couldn’t believe how quickly it arrived from the farthest away part of the world.

Ahhh I found out what cold cast bronze is..

Cold-Cast Bronze or Bonded Bronze as it is sometimes called, is actually made of a polyester, epoxy or another resin. Bronze powder and paints are used to achieve the bronze appearance. Marble dust can also be added to the resin to achieve a marble look, hence bonded stone.an also be added to the resin.

It has the weight and look of bronze,  Until I looked it up I would have said it was bronze. I still like it.biggrin
