Dennis,
At that time here in Wisconsin we had about 4 inches of new snow to play in.

From your note to all of us...I take it that no one was hurt.  Any serious damage?

No snow out here biggrin but its cold I had to put on a windbreaker and long pants.

No damage that I know of, a Magnitude 4.1 is a small earthquake it shake things a bit. My office is on stilts above the shop that I work at, when people come up the stairs it shake my office like an earthquake. But a real earthquake feels like some one hit the building with a truck.

I know that feeling, Dennis. My brother lived in Fountain Valley and I visited when his twins were about 5 (they're 35 now) and I thought the kids were under the bed shaking it to give Uncle Frank an experience. Nope, it was a 5.0 quake just the other side of Catalina Island.

Glad all is well though. We know how devastating they can be!!

Happy no one was hurt Dennis.  Some may think our flat-as-a-pancake land here in Michigan is boring, but I can deal with it.

Just as an aside, Sue and I were in San Francisco on business and we missed that big one by only a few days.  When was that, about 20 years ago?

Yesterday there was a 6.5 quake up at the north end of California offshore of Eureka. No serious injuries or downed buildings but a lot of broken bottles of Scotch!
