Grace and I are about to journey in our first Scottish Walk and Hogmanay Celebration - in Portsmouth, VA.  We hope to hook up with members of the Scottish Society of Tidewater and walk to downtown Portsmouth. Ending the evening with a lighted boat parade and lots of celebrating!
Happy New Year all. We'll post any photos we can gather.

Parade was great - foggy but not as cold as the next day.  I met another Clan Lamont marcher and will send her our Wee Harp, and application and also the link to the Forum.  Cute wee ones and lots of 4-legged children too!!  Definately on our calendar for 12/31/2010.

My wife, Grace, is Clan Morrison. She's wearing the modern tartan while her sister is wearing the Ancient.  A small reminder of the actions of 1776 were enacted, this being the Hurrah for Virginia!!  Finally, the wee one's photo was in the local newspaper too but I like the canine kilts.
