The plaque at one of the earliest historic locations of Dal Riata in Scotland. Circa 700 AD

Dunadd is the early site of the conrnation of the early Kings of Dalriada in Scotland. Dunadd is in the Kilmartin valley just north of Cowal. There is a carved footprint at the top of this hill fort. It is said that the Stone of Destiny was brought from Iona for the cornation of early Kings. One foot in the carved footprint and the other on the Stone of Destiny.

What they jokingly refer to as a foot path is most treacherous.  Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the top because of a back injury.  But Sue forged on ahead and conquered the rocks.
