Hello from sunny England

Hi all.  I am Kevin Turner and am currently living on the south coast of England with every intension of moving back to Cowel.  I met lots of Lamont Clan in Edinburgh this year at the Gathering and had a fantastic time.
I hope to see some of you again when I come to the States where I have already had a great time whilst serving in the British military.  I am now out of the service and a keen bagpipe player.  I live about an hour from London so if any of you are over here then let me know and I can host you for a while.
Hope to post lots on this site.
Kev Turner

Hi Kevin

Good to see you join us. I enjoyed meeting you and your wife. Too bad the weekend wasn't longer. I share your goal to move to Cowal, only money is stoping me.

Kevin, glad you joined us here, I'm sure you'll have a great time!
BTW, why is your arm around my wife? wink
I think George was the lookout!

Hi Jim.
Thanks for putting the photo up.it was great to meet so many people that weekend. I think the reason my arm is around your wife is because i had had my photo taken so many times it was a force of habbit. Karen hadf said to me at the end of the day how many times it had happened. It was very warm that day.

No worries Kevin, just pulling your leg.  Again, Sue and I really enjoyed meeting both you and Karen.

Hello Kevin, and welcome

If your move back to the Cowal Peninsula is imminent, there's a delightful property available available now at Toward Point. I have no financial interest in it, I just happened to make contact yesterday with a Lamont relative who jokingly asked if I perhaps wanted to buy a property!

I live in Betchworth, Surrey, probably not too far from where you are. I must say Dunoon property prices are a pleasant surprise compared to this part of the world.

Fewer Sassenachs too.

Sandy

HI Sandy, I will have a look at the property when I get home this evening. The move itself can not be quick enough, my job (teacher of science) is a transferable skill but maybe i would have to work near Glasgow. I am looking into it. I was working during the summer Hols in Kinswood (a golf course if you can call it work) there are Parrots flying wild there!!!. you are not too far away, i live in Worthing 16 miles from Brighton.

Hello Kevin, and a warm Celtic welcome from Boston, Massachusetts. I had to miss the gathering due to work and a lack of time off available. It is nice to have you on board.
