Hi everyone, my name is Dan Lamont. I am new to the forum and glad to be here. I live in a small resort town in SW Utah called Moab. An outdoor recreational spot. I have been actively going to Scottish games/events for over ten years, getting to 3 or 4 a year. Each year we plan for a long haul to another state to attend one. I am retired from the military, but like most retirees I still am working. My wife who is a Bogue( I believe that to be of Irish descent) has 6 1/2 years to retirement and then the real fun begins. This little town we live in is a small cowboy town, so when I wear my kilt (and proudly), everyone takes notice...what a great feeling. I love showing our true colors(clan Lamont). Drop me a line sometime...take care ...Dan
Welcome Dan to the Forum...This greeting comes from the State of Wisconsin where we are still thawing out from the last winter's cold (Not really, it only seems that way). Again, Welcome.
You will find lots of friends here, I go to lots of Scottish Festivals too. Whenever I host a Lamont tent I bring extra chairs and invite any new relatives to sit in the tent with me.Never a dull moment.
Great to see you joining us on the Forum. I lived in Northern Utah for a number of years back in the 90's. I've been through Moab and it's a great place so I know why you retired there.
Thanks for joining. Send me some Fry Sauce!
