I think you are right, they could be jealous. I only took a glance at it but will venture to it some other time, Have to finish up some homework tonight and it is late
A nice clean looking site, it looks very nice. Congratulations to them and to whoever designed it.
They say immitation is the greatest form of flattery; while I don't think they immitated us too much, if in some way what we're doing over here had some sort of impact on them in the sense of wanting to follow us on the path of "rebirth" so to speak, well then...good for us and good for them too. We all, no matter where we live, are sons and daughters of Alba and by blood, the ring, or whatever, are dedicated to the furtherance of our great Clan Lamont.
Just as an aside, that's the first time I have seen or heard of a hunting Lamont tartan.
Well rest assured if that's the case they are about to have alot more to be jealous of in the near future.
Jim, our New Central Region VP Clem wears the Weathered or Hunting Lamont tartan and it is absolutely beautiful. I have a picture from Saturday I will post on Lamontcentral.com either today or tomorrow.
I'll let you know so you can take a peek!

Thank you for all the comments, our site has been needing re designing for some time now. Julie Lamont a member and daughter of our president designed it keep an eye on it for more changes as she gets them put on. My husband has a kilt and I a dress in the hunting I don't know how to post photo's for you to see, anyway you will see it and meet Julie in Edinburgh. Looking forward to meeting you......not long to go now! Regards Mary in Scotland
I also agree that the new CLS website has a nice new look. I will be looking for the new additions. The opportunity has never risen for me to be able to visit Scotland, but I can enjoy news that you send to us.
I have and will always be thankful that our extended family of Clan Lamont worldwide will share thru fellowship and our knowledge of our great Clan with one another. I will always cherish the friendships that I have made over the last 15 years or so in this clan.
