Hello from Californa!!Been researching my heratiage crazy thought I was the only Limond out there since I'm the only boy on the west coast .Tracked my famliy back to Ayrshire through my granddad William Limond who migrated to Canada the earliest account of my line is a Angus Limond (Lamont) he was granted land's and that's when our branch got started.Done a lot of research sometime's spinning my wheel's to figure out the puzzle lol..Glad to be from Scotland proud to be Scottish .Y'all have a good from Sacramento,Californa

Welcome to the forum. Hop on over to the Sacramento Valley Games in Woodland Apr 29-30. Also look into the games at Pleasanton on Labor Day. We (the Lamonts) will have a tent there so you can meet some relatives.

Thanx guy's glad I found this site plan on participating in the Dna project interested in famliy history .I will come out to the game's at the end of the month will see if my grandpa want's to go he is into it to am proud to be a Lamont looking foward to meeting y'all one day would like to visit Scotland and see thhe great country.Y'all have a good day and will see you at the gatheringin Woodland and thanx again.Where is the gathering going to be held at?I live in Sacramento

Check the website for the Sacramento Gathering. We may not have a tent at Woodland. Still trying to find a local member to support us. I am about 400 miles south. Labor Day at Pleasanton is a big deal. Should have support there.

I just confirmed that Dan Lamont will host the Clan tent at Pleasanton. Hope to see you there. He will fill you in on any questions you might have. He and his wife Marta are wonderful supporters. I will be there working with Blandford Imports so stop by there to say hello too.
