Susa and I drove up to the town of Volcano for the Christmas Walk yesterday. It is a small town in the Sierra Gold Country in Northern California and the site of the only Civil War battle fought in California. It also has the cannon from that battle, the only one remaining on its original carriage. We wore our new Lamont wool shirts from Pendelton and as it was near freezing they wher quite comfortable.
