the English word Whisky (no E) transulates in Scottish Gaelic to uisge-beatha. That means water of life. Irish Whiskey has the E and is called uisce beatha. Most Irish whiskey's are un-peated and most Scottish Whiskey's are peated. I suggest we get together and compare several flavors
