Pardon this new poster not using Search. Actually, I did, but the results were mountainous. Perhaps someone has a quick answer.
I'm new to this game and have found it both interesting and frustrating.
I've been able to successfully trace my line from John Patric 1429. Along the way, I arrived at James Patrick 1766 (Virginia). The next step in line is his son, James Patrick 1848 (Arkansas). As you can see, this would make the earlier James about 84 years old when James the younger was born. This is not totally out of the question, but certainly requires some scrutiny.
I haven't been able to refute it, but wonder if some of you who are more qualified as searchers may have some insight? My concern is that, in all the forums, etc. visited I've seen no other reference to this line. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
My research has convinced and confirmed for me that the Patrick's are tough old cusses, so I'm not really all that surprised at James' apparent prowess.

I've considered that, but have been unable to find any evidence to that effect. In fact, I find that he actually fathered another child 2 years after James.
