They usually fade after a while of walking around, but if they don't I personally recommend a dry cleaner that knows about working with kilts and wool ( be careful though) or a steamer. I bought a steamer at Wallyworld for cheap and it does a good job. For long road trips I recommend wearing sport shorts and putting on the kilt when you arrive, saves the pleats and the kilt looks crisp when you get to your destination.

thanks Eric, I are wearing my kilt this weekend but it only about a 20 minute drive but in July I am riding my motorcycle to PA but I will be wearing my armor on the bike but will put the kilt on when I get there.
How do you go about finding a dry cleaner? just call around?
We have a local cleaner here that sews the pleast before pressing just the way a new kilt comes from Scotland. That keeps everything aligned when pressing.
