Tornados and Storms in N. Georgia & Tennessee

You may have seen some pictures on the news of last nights storms, there were some terribly devastating tornadoes and storms in North Georgia and Tennessee last night. There was a lot of damage in the Ringgold and Chattanooga areas.

Some of our regular posters live in that area.  Rick, Eric, & Mike, will you check in and let us know if everything is OK with all of you and your families.

Has anyone heard from our Clan Hay friends?

We have heard from Rick & Mike and our Clan Hay friends via Facebook, all are OK.  We still haven't heard anything from Eric yet.  There are still some areas without power.

I heard from Shannon yesterday afternoon, and they are OK.  Eric is most likely out on his comcast truck working to clear trees and restore cable.

Our neighborhood in Chattanooga was spared with very, very slight damage.  We had power, Cell Phone service and internet throughout the storms.  Had to hide in the bathroom three times.

Here is a link to a page with links to some of the damage in surrounding areas:

The destruction was overwhelming, heartbreaking.

I am on my way back to work in a few minutes, our new schedule is 6AM to midnight or so...yay. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers as there are so many less fortunate. I will talk to you all later,
