Plaque almost in St Pat's parade
Permalink

I was in Dallas last week and had the opportunity to have dinner with Drac and his wife Amy. I got to hear first hand about the plaque growing up in Narlins (N.O.) on Bourbon street.

I took the plaque with me back to Seattle as that Saturday I was marching with my Scottish Gaelic Society (Slighe nan Gaidhael http://www.slighe.com/)  in the Seattle St Pat's day parade.

The plaque was eager to go but the best of plans... it was raining like crazy, not all out group showed up. I ended up carrying one end of our banner with one hand and the other a Saltire flag. Given the situation, the  weather and lack of hands to carry the plaque - the plaque had to wait in the car, The plaque was upset and mad at me, it did not say a word the entire ride back home. The plaque is young and doesn't understand I did this for it own good.

Who wants the plaque next? We need to have a good foster parent to treat the plaque to a unique expereince.

Geez George, "the plaque was mad at me"???  Me thinks our Sr. VP tied his balmoral too tight.  Everyone knows the plaque is even tempered and always wants to talk it out before making a fuss.  biggrin

Having said that, bring it along to the AGM in Alma, that is if it isn't still mifed at you. wink

Not sure that a trip to MI will cure anyone of miffiness. Just sayin'

Yes, miffiness is a word. I am a medical professional.
