I had been working to do one of these for a while now, but I just hadn't had the right antlers to make it work.
This stick has a northern whitetail  antler that is placed in a way that your thumb can rest between two of the prongs.

I carved a knotwork thistle in the top that spirals down the shaft and is highlighted with Lamont tartan colors.

Near the top is the Clan crest and a piece of the tartan just below where the horn is attached to the shaft.

This stick is currently available, and I am pricing at $65 plus shipping. ( I would keep it for myself, but I already have a favorite stick) So if you want a stick that shows your pride in the clan to use at your next Highland games shoot me a PM.
Thanks for looking.

I was curious how Eric would package this item, well I can tell you.

it arrived in great condition, well wrapped and padded. I think I owe eric a roll of duct tape. The photos didn't do justice to the painting, it is very very nice.

Next time I am kilted I will take a photo and show you all my newest toy.

Only problem my wife got home before I did and saw the "odd" shaped package. I now can't claim that I have had "this old stick" forever.

Thanks Eric !!

Guess that is why we have to keep the USPS offices going so we can have the nefarious "P.O. Box" to offset this!
