Loch Striven ships

As you may already be aware, Clydesport has allowed the Maresk company to park several of their ships during this down economy in Loch Striven. The heart of CLS is headquartered at the Manse at Inverchaolain on the shores of Loch Striven. The ships are not mothballed but kept at a low operational state of readiness. The engines are still running to keep lights and other systems functional.

These pictures are ones that I had taken in previous years from the Inverchaolain church located next to the manse.

Here is the view today

Mary Lamb is attending a meeting in Dunoon to discuss the economic impact to the area. Please respond to this poll to help get these ships moved.
