OK, the arteries are hardining as I read that article.
If you ask me their are only a few things you deep fry, French Fries, Fish, Chicken, and doughnuts.

Butter!! that's tomuch no

...uhh....no thank you.

Don't get me wrong, I, unfortunately, love the fried stuff.
It does get me thinking.......hmmm,..what about Deep Fried Haggis Bites?

I had deep fried Haggis in Oban Scotland, it improves it

Yee haw!  Deep in the heart of Texas!  (Clogged arteries and all!)  Saw this on our local news. 

Well, actually, Dallas isn't right in the heart of Texas but . . . it's close enough.  Haven't been out to the state fair in years but I know they've been plying their fried delights trade for awhile now.  (And you thought it was only corn dogs and funnel cakes! wink
