Got this note from Jean Watson in Canada, a founder of Clan Lamont in Canada. mark your calendars

We want to really push getting the word out to people about the upcoming International Gathering of the Clans
(and Celts).
If you have any friends, relatives, pipers you know, similar Scottish Societies to your own, Invite Everyone to Nova Scotia for the 2011 International Gathering. Time to work on it now....
 
I have attached some ideas you could use in your invitations. 
This year we will be inviting in other Celtic groups so be prepared for some new venues.
Keep an eye on our Federation Web Site.  http://www.scotsns.ca as things become approved they will be posted.

      Don’t get caught sleeping.  The

    8th International Gathering of the Clans          
                                                          (and Celts)

 

                Will be held in Nova Scotia (New Scotland) in 2011

 

Start making those plans and sending notices to your sister societies in other parts of Canada, USA, Scotland, Australia, or any place they may be. Send out a warm invitation to come to New Scotland. (Only 19 months away !! )

 

Contact relatives, Pipe Bands, Dance Groups, singing groups, you name it, get everyone excited about 2011 in Nova Scotia.
