Hi, my name is James Turner, I'm a new member and new to kilting. Bought my first kilt in March (US Forces) wore it twice , at church for Kilt Day and to a veterans program in another town. I'm looking for a Lamont kilt modern or weathered, I can't wear wool. Very glad to be a member of the Clan. Thank you.smile

  Welcome to the forum, I too am new to the clan but do not have my Kilt yet.  One place that I have found resonable in price for kilts is Celtic Croft (www.kilts-n-stuff.com) they do advertise a "Poly-Visc" for those that have trouble with wool.  I have ordered a few items from them, their site is easy to navigate through, and they do send out quality items.
  When were you in the Air Force?  I entered in 1972 and got out in 1976, kind of wish I would have stayed in for at least a second run but didn't.  Again Welcome.

Celtic Croft is an excellent business.  I ordered some items through their website that turned out to be out of stock and they called me 10 minutes after I placed my order.  They will also find you anything you need even if it's not in their catalog or on the website.
