My name is not Gaelic and the translitteration to Reamhardaigh is somewhat lengthy and thus is not suitable for routine transmission. At least, the accent is on the first syllable, in Gaelic fashion.
I have been a long-time member of CLSNA. My dues seem to be so far behind that I no longer receive dues notices. I miss getting the Wee Harp. The only AGM I managed to get to was at Huntersville a couple of years ago. I am active in the Andrew Lamont Young Society, descendents of the four brothers who went with their mother Mary Young to the Larne area in 1646. (We have a meeting scheduled for September 2009.)
I am also active in the Gaelic Society. I have particularly enjoyed singing, although I have not competed in a Mod for a couple of years now. I did get to Lewis in 2001, where two American ensembles competed in the Royal National Mod's waulking song competition.
You'll be hearing more from me.

The paintings, poetry and music Are all merely water drawn from the well of mankind And must be returned to him in a cup of beauty So he may drink And in drinking, come to know himself. --Lorca
