Greetings and Salutations from Boston, Massachusetts.
Some day I will connect Edward Browne (1590 - 1650) who married (1627) Faith Lord (1610 - 1679) back to the Lamonts. I have been at this brick wall for some time now....Some how English Clerks do not know where the records went to.... and other such delights of genealogy. Also my spouse's MacLucas, McLucas connections to the Lamont Clan. One day it will all come together.
Steve Brown (RA-0969)

Hello Steve, We're so glad you could join us. This is going to be a great forum for our clan society, Lamonts, septs and generally anyone interested. If you do a little exploring I'm sure you'll find areas for most interests - some serious, some light hearted and some down right fun but all centered on the one thing which draws us all together, LAMONT!
I'm glad your here because I have a question for you. What to your knowledge is happening in and around Boston in terms of games and Lamont activity. I have no spies in Boston and have had a request already for information from one of our members.
I want to try to get somebody out there to you.

David, The only real thing out this way is the New Hampshire Highland Games September 18, 19, and 20, 2009 at Loon Mountain, Lincoln, New Hampshire. Clan Lamont was represented last year with a tent. There are games in Western Massachusetts, and in Maine prior to New Hampshire, but they are basically a one day thing. NHHG is the big one for this area.
George, We are not the only X-markers here. ;)

I forgot to mention Steve, my screen name is taken from my grandfather which I'm sure is a derivative of Luke and my grandfathers mother's name was Brown...much investigating to go yet.
