Latha math dhuibh!

Just a brief introduction, my name is Taylor Darley and I'm a descendant of John Lamont and Mary Young Lamont. (By way of my father's maternal line, his mother's maiden name was Young) A bit of the history can be found here: http://www.geocities.com/charryoung/early.html (not my site)

My wife (also of scots descent via Clan Davidson) and I live in North Texas with our 2 dumb dogs and our very dumb cat, and we're expecting our first child, Anderson Kyle, in April.

I'm excited about the new forum and hope to see some of you at upcoming events.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you find some interesting things to discuss and some new people to meet.

I'm in North Texas too so come see us at the North Texas Irish Festival at Fair Park March 6, 7 & 8th. Look for Clan Lamont in the Scottish Village section of the show. I hope I see you there!

Yeah, we met last summer at the Scottish Heritage festival! I know you met a lot of folks there, so if i can find the picture i'll put it up.
