Beginning with John Henry and ending with Alfred Granville, a stretch of 25 years with 7 chiefs - bad luck, bad health, or bad blood?

I have them all plotted out in a family tree. It appears it jumped around amongst cousins several times right around 1953, some resigned due to Ill health & some died. It did not always follow a father to son progression. I had three missing for several years and did a google search on something for Lamont australia and found the missing chiefs. Communications have not been excellent between Scotland and the clan downunder
