ALL stadium seats are sold out and all of the paddock area seats are sold out for Saturday, while there are a few left on Sunday. Weather is predicted to be in the upper 80s which ismuch better than a lot of years when it was over 100 degrees! Check out the games website for more info at  http://www.thescottishgames.com/Tickets2017.php?gclid=CjwKEAjw8vnMBRDg2ff6wpS66RQSJAApvwYSKPyW2m8EBS0040pyBBbA1rdy04MnG_GKgr8mlep7lRoCY5jw_wcB for more info on vendors and activities. I am hoping to be there on Saturday.

To all. Dan Lamont will be hosting our clan tent so please stop by. He and Marta always do a fine job at the tent. I will be in the vendor area with Blandford Imports if you need any Scottish items.

Glad to hear you might make it. Either day is good. Different pipe band competitions each day just different format. Looking forward to meeting new friends. The Clan has a competitor in the drum major. His name is Michael Dubisz. His time is 10:30 prelims and final at 4:00. We should all try to support if possible. I believe it is Sat.

It lokslike we will not be able to make it this weekend. The expected temps ate 109 degeees for setup on Friday, 107 degrees on Saturday and 100 degrees on Sunday. Theps just to the north in Concord are expected to be 110 or higher. Record temps all around!

We went to the Pleasanton Games this morning. Based on the weather reports, we got there at 8:30 AM and it was a bit warm. We had a lot of fun and saw a lot of friends but left for home before 2 PM as the temp peaked at @ 111 just after that. At 6 M it was still 102. The vendors probably did quite well today as the vendor buildings are air conditioned. Tomorrow should be a few degrees cooler. This was the hottest games I have ever been to. On the plus side, only 12 people were treated for heat related issues.
