North Texas Irish Festival March 6th-8th

Hello fellow clan members, I will be hosting a tent there next weekend.

Then NTIF sets aside a area for about 25 Scottish clan tents, I have been on the waiting list for this event and I got in this year so if anyone is in the area come on over.

The event will be next weekend March 6th – 8th at Dallas Fair Park Here are the hours

Friday March 6th 6:00 to 11:00 PM

Saturday March 7th 10:30am – 11:30 pm

Sunday March 8th 11:30 am – 7:30 pm

This was my first time at the North Texas Irish Festival and my first time having the tent indoors.

Friday and Saturday the weather was good and so was the turnout, Sunday was cool and wet but the turnout was still fair.

I did meet some new cousins that did not know that the Clan had a presence in the US and they were interested to learn more about the family.

Mr. RL Turner came up from down by Austin to help me with the tent for a bit so i was able to see some of the other parts of the Festival.

Nice pictures of the various clan set ups. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like there's been a changing of the guard since we were involved. Used to know or at least recognize a lot of the clan reps in the region but I see very few in your photos that are recognizable. Time marches on . . .

Yes they say a lot of folks have retired

it was different being inside but it was nice at 3 days before the event we had snow on the ground
