clsna Did you know that the modern Threshing Machine by invented by a Lamont? About 1784 Andrew Meikle was credited with this invention. He also invented adjustable "sails" for windmills. wink

I thought I would put an article in "The Wee Harp" as soon as I can gather more information. I found it in a book titled The History of Scotland by Plantagenet and Fiona Fry.
