It's official, Rhett is descended from the Virginia/Kentucky Patricks.  He has been able to trace his family back to Hugh Patrick.

I'll let Cousin Rhett give us all of the details !

All kidding aside Jim, I think it's really great that all the Patricks have been able to trace their lineage and discover that you all are related.  Good for all of you.

Having a bite of trouble with researching family tree, dont know if my Patrick line is decedent from John Patrick b;Oct 16 1727 in Albermarle Parish, surrey or Sussex. Or is it William Patrick b; 1734 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania? very confused.

Hi Jim,

Do you have any information on these people?

John Patrick b;1756 in Mecklen, Burg, Virginia
Sarah Elizabeth Kendrick b; 1761 Mecklen, burg, Virginia.

Its starting to look like my Patrick line is not decendent of Hugh Patrick after all.

I will look and see what I can find, I looked at these lines briefly last weekend.  I want to look at the census records for the Ludson Green Patrick and see what I can find. Green and Greenville are common given names in Hugh's line.

We'll keep looking, we need to find as many of the separate Patrick lines as we can.  There are still a lot of Patrick lines that originated in Scotland and have not been researched.

The Hugh Patrick line is one that is well documented, there are many others out there that need to be researched and documented.

Thanks Jim,

Did not realise there were so many Patricks out there! In my search I have come across 2 Ludson Green Patricks, one borne around 1867 the other 1805 Im related to the 1805 Ludson, But its interesting you say Green is a common given name in the Hugh patrick line. Does the Green name have anything to do with the town of Bowling Green? confuse

Welcome Melissa. Great you have done this research on Patricks (Lamont) clan. Could you please fill us in on where these ancestors were born? It really helps if we can follow the paths from Scotland to other locations when we meet new relatives.
