Got an early birthday present

Hi all,

Just got my birthday present from Amy.  Not a huge surprise since I said "I want that!"

A Bradley Digital Smoker.  I've been wanting a good smoker for a while now and this one can do cold smoking.  Just the ticket for things like andouille sausage, home made bacons, pancetta and other cool things.

Look at all that smoke at I season the inside -

what is the digital part? does it control the temp by opening and closing the vents?

looks like we will be seeing some good stuff in the near future from Drac

The digital part controls the heating element inside the box, the heating element for the "pucks", the advancement of the pucks, smoke timer and box timer.

The top vents seem to be a fine control.

Going to be busy beyond belief this weekend so, unfortunately, I don't see it happening quickly.

BTW, forgot to say nifty smoker, you have a very thoughtful wife.

The first thing will most likely be andouille sausage or snack sticks.
