Turners in Georgia, US 1640?

Good Day,
I'm working on a website for Turners' located in Georgia, US. (http://myturnerfamily.org ) Incomplete information states that a William Turner (Could this be Sir James Lamont???) moved from Scotland in 1640 to Worchester County, Maryland. He may have been the father of James Turner of Hampton, Georgia. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Jim

I am tracing ours as well. We came from Georgia to Alabama via Florida. Any info you have would be deeply appreciated.

Of course. I'm setting up the family tree now for the website, should start up in a few days. Where in Ga were your roots?
