Evening all,

The one thing that stands out about Scaby over any other fair are the ribs.  I pick up a jar of seasoning each fair (sometimes I order one from them in between) and do up some ribs.  Normally I head to Central Market and pick up some uncut short ribs (about 9" long) or some flanken style.  Made some of both styles last couple weekends -

Un-short short ribs -

Looking tasty?

OH MY GOD!  The desserts, breads and whatnot are bad enough, but being a true carnivore, with the lousy cholesterol to prove it, this is just beyond my ability to stand firm and resist.  It's now 11:20pm here and the neighbors are going to start smelling my grill.  Fine, I can take the flak, I'm used to it.  But this time, I'm telling them, "Blame Drac"!  OK, rant over.

Really, nice looking dish Jim.

Wow. I guess we'll have to expand the recipes section of The Wee Harp to include other non-dessert type things. Those look wonderful!!

Things were getting slow around here so I just had to throw something out there.

Jim, I'm in the same boat. Pills and all...

I should be baking here again soon. Amy gives up sweets for Lent so that curtails my baking to keep from making it worse for her.

Two weeks left.

Jim, are your ribs going to be at Scarborough Faire?  If so I will most definitely be there!  You're speaking my language:  Central Market, meat . . . biggrin
