But I'm probably just an admin. assistant!

Currently I'm unemployed but have never worked fulltime except at home as a homemaker and mom.

Now I'm 50 and I'm not sure what I want to be when I grow up!  ;)

I'm a grandma -- especially three days a week when we keep our 3 1/2 yr. old grandson.  But before the year is out I'll be looking for a job.

There's Coldwater Creek . . . but I have very little retail sales experience.  I could take my big Yamaha keyboard on the road and earn a few bucks, maybe.  (Weddings, funerals, etc.)   What I really should do is buckle down and write the great American novel.  Yeah, that's the ticket!

Anyway, that's where I am.  Praying for direction and clarity.  And if you're in the DFW area and know of a possible job for me, let me know.  I do have eight years' experience in a church office (part time).  I enjoy anything that involves communications (basic html, e-mail, Internet research, some photo and video, journalism . . .)  I'm good at proof-reading, keyboarding, letter writing, and bouncing ideas off of!

Jill,
Along with work, home, and scouting, I also am a student.  In one of my classes we were asked what it was we wanted to be.  I mentioned that I did not know what I wanted to be when I grow up.  To be honest it is more fun acting as a "Big Kid" thanks to scouting, and of course Grandchildren aww
You have lots of experience and that is a plus.  With the way the economy is...just take your time, enjoy the grandson, and wait, the "cool" job will come along. confuse

I don't know of anything that wouldn't have you commuting to North Dallas. If I hear of something closer to you I'll let you know.

David, just read your reply -- almost four years later!  I found something to occupy my time but it's a wee further north than North Dallas. ;)
